Jim Falbo (classical/romantic guitarist) Reviews
WeddingWire Jim Falbo (classical/romantic guitarist) Reviews, Best Wedding Ceremony Music in Minneapolis - 2015 Couples' Choice Award Winner
Review from a party event:

"Jim Falbo was chosen to play for our banquet because of the fine music samples he has offered on his website.  His communication was prompt and professional.  In person at our event he was charming.  And the music -- oh, it was wonderful!  This guy can play the guitar, and the room was filled with warmth, color, harmony ... Everyone felt special.  Our group of 41 people had an exceptional afternoon, in large part due to Jim Falbo.  He is a stand-out talent, and he has easily earned my highest recommendation.  Thanks Jim!"

Jim did an amazing job! Many comments and compliments on his music selection and level of talent. It was a pleasure working with him and I would not hesitate to hire him for future venues.... Lisa Johnson ~ Hellmuth and Johnson Law Firm

Even though so many reviews for Jim were related to weddings, I chose him to play at my father's memorial service, after listening to him and deciding that the string quartet option was out of our budget. I made the right choice! After discussing my Dad and his musical tastes, he put together a perfect play list that included classical guitar mixed with some of my Dad's favorite pop tunes. He even learned a favorite hymn and a special song by Joni Mitchell that was not in his repertoire! Jim made the enormous responsibility of choosing this music easier. He was prompt, kind and so talented! He honored our Dad's life through his gift and I am so grateful. Amazing!

Have an event you are celebrating in the near future? Classical and fingerstyle acoustic music provides a great ambiance to any event, and can take your celebration to another level. The warmth of a guitar can comfortably fill up a room, and entertain anyone who happens to be in the vicinity.  I play the widest mix of classical/romantic, Spanish, Latin, gypsy jazz, Jazz standards, pop classics, and contemporary pieces. Each event can be custom designed to fit your specific needs.
I have provided beautiful music for many different clients' occasions including weddings, corporate events, social functions, house concerts, celebrations, memorial services, and anniversaries. I use a battery powered P.A. system  for my acoustic guitars in almost all settings, providing a perfect ambiance and comfort level for people to mingle and converse. Being a solo artist has the benefit of using very little space in different venues.
